    Spreyton Primary School.

Spreyton Primary School is a small, rural primary school located in the centre of the village.  The school was established in 1877 to serve the local community and we continue very much in that tradition.  However, the facilities that we have today enable us to deliver a high standard of teaching and learning.

We currently have 34 pupils on roll.  The pupils are divided into two classes.  The smaller class sizes enable us to provide the children with a curriculum which suits their individual needs.  There is very much a family feel to the school.  The children are encouraged to support each other and they take an active part in running the school.  The children are very proud of their school.

We are very well equipped and resourced to deliver high standards of education to all of our children.  To highlight a just a few of our assets - we have very good ICT facilities, a dedicated craft room, a well stocked library and our own kitchen serving delicious, locally sourced, freshly cooked meals.

Our teachers strive to deliver the very best in learning opportunities and are keen to organise exciting and interesting lessons to keep the children motivated and eager to learn.  Our most recent OFSTED recognised the school as good in all aspects.

We have been awarded Healthy School and Sportsmark status which recognises our firm commitment to developing the whole child.

We actively encourage parents, friends and the wider community to be involved in school life.  We have an active Governing Body and a supportive PTFA.

Visits are warmly welcomed by appointment.  Please contact us via our school administrator, Helen on 01647 231321 to arrange an appointment.
