| Minutes of a meeting of Spreyton Parish Council held in the Village Hall on Wednesday 17th March 2010 at 7.30 pm. Present: W Porritt (Chairman), C Lott (Vice Chairman), R Henderson, B Cunningham, E Collins, E Osborn-Hodge and C Wootton (Clerk). Also Mr Mike Huhne. 1 Apologies: Z Grimley 2 Minutes of the meeting held on 20th January 2010 2.1 Having been previously circulated the minutes were agreed and signed. 3 Matters arising: None. 4 Interests in Agenda items: 4.1 The Chairman had an interest in the matters to be considered in item 9. 5 Den Brook Farm Liaison Committee 5.1 It was agreed that Cllr Lott and Mr Huhne would be the Parish Council's delegates. 5.2 Mr Huhne is to challenge the Planning Inspector's decision and his legal advisors have agreed to work on a Costs Fee Arrangement (often known as "no win, no fee"). 5.3 Mr Huhne outlined the reasons for his continued challenge to the meeting. 6 Development north of Meadow Rise 6.2 Nine affordable homes are to be built. These should be available March 2011 and local applicants will have priority. 6.3 Some homes may be ready for sale in July this year. 6.4 The number of properties remains at 25. There has been some "tweaking" of the layout. 6.5 The four bedroom houses will be in the region of £350K, the three bedroom £250K. 7 Request for donation to Village Trust for cost of mole control. 7.1 It was suggested that the Trust purchase a "solar mole controller". 8 Link Committee 8.1 Cllr Lott gave a report of the last meeting to the Council. 8.2 The minutes of that meeting were placed in the Circulation File 8.3 There have been some complaints about the street lights being turned off between 12.30 am and 5.30 am particularly regarding late night Village Hall events and pub closing time. 9 Planning Matters 9.1 The Chairman explained the application by Mr & Mrs Garrard for a two storey extension at Little Begbeer replacing an existing single storey building. 9.2 The Chairman left the meeting in view of his interest. 9.3 The Council had a neutral view to the development. 9.4 An application has been made by Mr Porritt for renewal of the existing consent for an extension at Bargains Farm.
