Minutes of a meeting of Spreyton Parish Council held in the Village Hall on Wednesday 17th January 2007 at 7.30 pm.

Present: W Porritt (Chairman), C Lott (Vice Chairman), E Collins, R Brook, E Osborn-Hodge, R Henderson and C Wootton (Clerk).

1 Apologies: P Ridgers (Borough Councillor). Absent - Z Smith.

2 Minutes of the last meeting 15th November 2006.

2.1 Having been previously circulated the minutes were agreed and signed.

3 Matters arising:

3.1 The stones in the lay by near Ryders Beer have been removed by SWH.

3.2 The Clerk will write to T Davey re the path across the Village Green.

4 Interests in agenda items:

4.1 The Chairman has an interest in a matter in item 9.

5 Register of Interests:

5.1 Cllrs Porritt and Henderson were given amendment forms re changes.

6 Annual Parish Meeting:

6.1 Cllr James Mclnnes (DCC) and Cllr P Ridgers (WDBC) will be invited.

7 Best Kept Village Competition

7.1 It was resolved to enter the competition again.

8 Link Committee

8.1 The minutes of the last meeting were placed in the circulating file.

9 Planning matters

9.1 A revised application has been submitted by Mr & Mrs I Bouget for an

extension at 2 Newlands Farm, Spreyton - no objection.

10 Accounts to pay:

10.1 It was resolved to make a further grant of £123.00 to Spreyton Village Trust in respect of the VAT payable on the new curtain rail.

10.2 It was resolved to make donations to Spreyton PCC of £50.00 for churchyard maintenance and £25.00 towards the cost of the Parish Magazine.
