CHAIRMAN’S MESSAGE continued There has been the set up of the new Movie Club and the relaunch of old ones like the Toddlers, and Good Companions. Plus the clubs that keep going, WI, Badminton, Keep Fit, School Gym and others. All clubs are actively seeking new members, so come and join in. The Methodist Church have their weekly service here. All these things don’t happen without people giving up their time to run them for which we are very grateful, and our thanks are due to our caretaker, Clifford. We have been able to run last Autumn the events which Spreyton is well-known for, Flower Show, Harvest Supper, Senior Citizens’ Luncheon and Christmas Dance, all very successful. With all this behind us we look forward to the coming year and the possibility of new clubs, eg Gardening, Model Making and Games Evenings. Remember for under £10, the meeting room can be hired for a 2-hour session. We also have excellent facilities for a celebration, dinner, concert, or dinner/dance. All these things are happening at Spreyton village hall nowadays with the Cricket, Tennis, and football clubs as we expand.
